Lasting Bridge has fun new ideas and adventures for the 2009 winter camp. We also have plans for weekend trips to some great travel destinations in the USA’s great mid-west. Check out at our weekend trips link for more information. We are sure you will love them!!! - Mitchell & Jonathan
After a little break we are beginning to organize all of the great events for the upcoming winter camp. We are excited to get going again and look forward to meeting our new students. - Mitchell & Jonathan
Here are 4 ways Lasting Bridge is different from other camps:
1) We Care - We take pride in not being a large impersonal company in which thousands of students are put through a cookie cutter camp. Not everyone learns the same way and because we only allow a small number of students per camp, we can find a way to teach in a way that is effective for you. We are a small, personal company by choice. We take pride in seeing you succeed and will work hard to see that you do. We will be with you the whole way making your time with us memorable. You will make strong friendships with Lasting Bridge, American families, friends, and fellow students in the camp!!!
2) We Know How To Help - We have years of combined experience teaching Koreans the ins and outs of the English language. We use only handpicked relevant curriculum that is effective in improving your conversational skills. We know Koreans do well with reading and writing but often struggles with everyday conversation and listening. These days’ Korean companies are looking for Koreans who not only test well in English, but also know how to interact with foreigners using English comfortably. Also while you travel throughout the world you can feel at ease traveling more safely and comfortably as your English improves. This is our focus throughout the camp and you will succeed!!!
3) We Make Adventure - No observing from the sidelines at our camp. Our students will be interacting in English from the start. Throughout the camp we will be using our classroom English in real world America. Our camp has adventures at every turn. We make daily adventures that coincide with our daily modular theme through use of games, interactive activities, and much much more. Your English will improve while having a great time!!!
4) Unforgettable Travel - We will be traveling every weekend to fun locations where you will take part in American pastimes and will see famous American sites, cities, traditions, and culture. Make no mistake American culture is different from Korea and we will be there with you sharing and growing together from the new experiences. You will make memories that will last a lifetime!!!

1) We Care - 저희는 많은 학생들이 캠프에 참여하는 형식적으로 이루어지는 사업목적의 캠프가 아닌 캠프에 참여하는 학생 한명 한명마다 보살피며 그들이 캠프생활을 잘 해 나갈 수 있도록 관심을 갖고 정성을 다하는 캠프입니다. 소수의 학생들만 캠프에 참여하기 때문에 선생님과 학생들과의 유대관계 형성이 잘 이루어 지며 선생님들과 편하게 지내면서 본인들이 원하는 것을 캠프에서 다 이루어 낼 수 있도록 선생님들이 가까이에서 항상 도움을 주는 효율적인 캠프입니다.
저희는 캠프에 참여하는 모든 학생들이 지금까지 경험해 보지 못했던 좋은 추억과 미국 가족, 미국 친구들 그리고 같이 캠프에 참여하는 다른 학생들과 함께 잊지못할 기억을 Lasting Bridge와 할 수 있을 것입니다!!!
2) We Know How To Help - 저희는 한국사람들에게 영어를 가르친 경험이 많기 때문에 한국사람들이 필요로 하는 잘 맞는 영어교육방법을 잘 알 수 있었습니다. 그래서 많은 영어책과 자료 중에서 중요하면서도 자주쓰는 꼭 필요한 영어 자료만으로 우리만의 교재를 만들었습니다.
저희 캠프에서 가장 중요한 교육목적은 학생들이 영어에 부담을 갖지 않고 어느 상황에서든 편안하고 자유롭게 사용할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 것입니다. 요즘은 회사에 취직할때도 단지 TOEIC, TOFEL 점수만 필요한 것이 아닌 외국인과 인터뷰, 대화를 통한 실제 영어 스킬을 테스트 할 정도로 우리가 실제상황에서 영어를 얼마나 자유롭게 활용할 수 있는지가 중요하며 또한 해외여행 시 편하고 안전하게 언어에 대한 걱정을 할 필요가 없도록 하는 것입니다. 그러므로 여러분은 영어캠프에 참여하는 목적을 달성할 수 있을 것입니다!!!
3) We Make Adventure - 캠프에 참여하는 모든 학생들은 단순히 참석하는 것으로 만족되는 것이 아닌 캠프가 시작되는 날부터 직접 몸으로 체험하고 환상적인 모험을 즐길 수 있습니니다. 단순한 교실수업에서 끝나는 것이 아닌 매일 새로운 주제로 수업이 진행되어 그날 배운 수업 내용은 그날 바로 게임이나 체험수업을 통해 실습이 이루어져 실제 상황에서 직접 학생들이 사용하도록 영어 실력을 향상시킵니다. 체험수업은 단순한 실습이 아닌 그날의 주제에 맞는 학교 밖의 장소에서 학생들이 게임하면서 즐길 수 있는 시간입니다. 그러므로 여러분은 좋은 시간을 보내면서 그날 배운 내용을 다시한번 실제 상황에 적용시켜 봄으로써 여러분이 직접 여러분의 영어가 자연스럽게 향상되고 있음을 느낄 수 있을 것 입니다!!!
4) Unforgettable Travel - 주말에는 학생들이 좀 더 미국을 경험하고 여행할 수 있도록 매 주말마다 미국의 유명한 곳과 도시를 여행하며 전통적인 미국문화를 체험할 것입니다. 단순한 주말 활동이 아닌 여행가들에게 인기있는 장소를 학생들이 여행을 하면서 그 새로운 경험을 마음을 열고 한국문화와 미국문화의 차이점에 대하여 대화를 나누고 토론하며 각자의 경험을 공유할 수 있는 시간을 가집니다. 그래서 여러분은 이 시간을 평생토록 이 기억하며 간직할 수 있을 것입니다!!!
